Adopt-A-Family Program

Holiday Giving: PREVAIL Adopt-A-Family Support Program

PREVAIL’s Adopt-A-Family program helps bring comfort and joy to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and at-risk or homeless youth during the holidays. Each year, we match generous community members with individuals and families in need, to provide meaningful gifts and holiday support.

You can help by adopting a family with gifts, donating gift cards, or coordinating a holiday donation drive. Whether it’s toys for children, warm clothing, or a gift card for groceries your kindness brings hope, dignity, and a sense of normalcy during a difficult time.

Break the Silence, Take a Stand!

The Silent Witness

Since 1994, PREVAIL has been keeping record of women, children, and men who have been murdered in acts of domestic violence in San Joaquin County. Our wooden silhouettes represent those individuals who lost their lives. This year, some of them will be on display at various locations throughout the County. Follow us on social media to learn more about display locations and help us honor their memory. Special thanks to the authorities and partners who continue to support this campaign — you are making a difference!

Purple Thursday: 10/16/2025

Wear purple – the official color of domestic violence awareness and prevention – on October 16th to show your support for victims of domestic violence.

Help get conversations started about domestic violence, with the goal of ending violence and building healthy relationships. Share a selfie of your purple look on Facebook and Instagram.

Clinical Therapy

Clinical Therapy

Clinical therapy is a space for children, youth, and families to process adversity, trauma, and overall life challenges. The goal of therapy is to lessen the impact of these obstacles and to develop insight, perspective, and gain coping skills.
  • Our Services

Our clinical therapy services are culturally rooted, trauma-informed, and healing centered. We believe treatment is most successful when there is an authentic connection between the therapist and client. While our therapists use evidence-based practices, we also understand that healing can occur in many forms, and we honor the different interventions that aid in those practices.
  • Our Clinicians

Our clinicians are genuine, non-judgmental, and are here to play a supportive role in the healing journey. They are trained in a variety of EBP's and specialize in the treatment of trauma. All clinicians are trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
